To import machinery or industrial supplies from China into Thailand: import duty is calculated on the CIF value. Import VAT is 7%. Thailand has a trade agreement with China (ASEAN–China FTA, RCEP), so many goods enter at reduced or zero duty with a certificate of origin. Key conformity requirement: TISI (for regulated products). Machines must be configured for the local grid: 230/400 V, 50 Hz.
