New Chinese machine or used European machine?
A new Chinese machine usually costs less than a comparable used European one and comes with a warranty, current controls and available spare parts, but build quality varies by factory. A used European machine can be very well built, yet you inherit its wear, old electronics and uncertain parts supply. The deciding factors are your budget, how critical uptime is, and whether you can verify either machine before paying.
- New from China: warranty, modern PLC, parts on hand, but vet the factory.
- Used from Europe: proven build, but check hours, wear and parts availability.
- Either way, insist on a test run and the real electrical spec before you pay.
